About The Event
The Agribusiness Industry Network will host a visit and tour of the Lexington facilities of Black Soil: Our Better Nature on Wednesday, September 8. Black Soil’s mission is to reconnect Black Kentuckians to their legacy and heritage in agriculture and help foster a greater market share for Black farmers as they provide healthy food options to a larger consumer base. The visit is scheduled at 10:30 am ET at the Julietta Market, located inside Greyline Station, 101 W. Loudon Ave. Lunch will be served at 11:45, and the visit will conclude by 1 pm.
AIN will provide transportation from Louisville for those wishing to take part in this event. Departure will be from the Southeast Christian Church parking lot on Blankenbaker at 9 am.
