The Agribusiness Industry Network will host a visit and guided tour of Yew Dell Botanical Gardens in Oldham County on

Tuesday July 14.

Recognized internationally as a premier horticulture display, research and educational venue, Yew Dell is an outgrowth of a farm and ornamental nursery operation begun by the Theodore and Martha Klein family in 1941. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been designated one of the nation’s top destination gardens. The facility specializes in the development and evaluation of new plant varieties, and boasts a number of architecturally significant structures, including an iconic castle designed by Theodore Klein originally as his family’s pool house.

The tour is set for 11 am to 12 noon on the 14^th, with lunch and a brief business meeting to follow at a nearby restaurant. AIN is covering the tour costs. Participants will pick up their meal tab.
